Santa Letters in Braille 2019

By December 1, 2019December 18th, 2020ACCESSIBLE DOCUMENTS

Hello and happy December 1st!

The holiday season is upon us, which means the transcription team here at T-Base has been hard at work transcribing letters from Santa into braille—a project that is near and dear to our hearts. Every year, T-Base teams up with Santa and his elves to deliver letters in braille to children who are blind. What a delight it is for children to receive a letter from Santa ahead of the big night. The T-Base team, Santa and everyone else at the North Pole agree that all children should have the opportunity to experience this. Check out Helping Santa Deliver Braille Letters: A T-Base Tradition to learn more about the program, including the feedback we’ve received and how it aligns with T-Base’s commitment to ensuring that people who are blind or have low vision have equal access to information.

How to send a letter to Santa

If you or someone you know would like to send a wish list to Santa and receive a reply in braille, please mail a letter to him by Dec. 12, 2019. (If you send one after, he might not have enough time to respond before Dec. 25!)
