Trevor Lwin, Co-CEO

Picture of Trevor Lwin Trevor is an accomplished business executive with an entrepreneurial spirit, having over 17 years of experience in numerous capital advisory transactions. His proven track record in corporate growth initiatives has allowed him to adapt to several industries and drive the company forward during a time of growth. Trevor has broad corporate experience for business process outsourcers, consumer products, education, food processing, engineering & construction, infrastructure, and niche manufacturing, making him instrumental in our ability to meet the needs of a diverse global marketplace. 
 
Prior to assuming the role of Co-CEO at T-Base in 2014, Trevor’s experience derives from other senior management positions including the role of Co-Founder of Gestalt Equity Partners, Managing Director of Bank of Montreal’s Mid-Mergers & Acquisitions Group, and CIBC World Markets Investment Banking. He also became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 2002.
 
Trevor holds an MBA from the Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from York University’s Schulich School of Business.

Bruce Moszcelt, Co-CEO

Picture of Bruce MoszceltBruce has over 17 years of experience working with mid-market business owners from across Canada and the United States in a wide range of industries including food processing, food retail, medial products, infrastructure, consumer products, niche manufacturing, and business services. Previous to joining T-Base in 2014 as Co-CEO, Bruce was a Co-Founder of Gestalt Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused on investing equity capital into a private business.  As Co-CEO for T-Base, Bruce oversees sales, marketing and operations.
   
Prior to forming Gestalt, Bruce was a Managing Director in Bank of Montreal’s Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions group, a business he helped establish within BMO in late 2001.  In his role as a Managing Director, Bruce has had significant transaction experience in mergers & acquisitions and capital advisory transactions, including divestitures, acquisitions, restructurings, private placements, valuations and providing strategic corporate advice.
 
Bruce is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a graduate of The Richard Ivey School of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Business Administration.

Sharlyn Ayotte, Consumer Engagement Officer

Picture of Sharlyn AyotteSharlyn launched T-Base Communications in 1994, founded on her personal experience of being unable to decipher every day documents such as her monthly bills and bank statements without assistance. She set about to ensure that corporations, governments, and educators have the support required to ensure that their blind, deaf-blind, partially sighted and print restricted customers, citizens and students receive their important information in a form that they can readily access.
 
With over 30 years combined experience and education in the high tech sector, her drive to make accessible materials available to blind and partially sighted consumers is unwavering. To support the T-Base mission to provide a comprehensive suite of accessible communications services to our corporate and public sector customers, Sharlyn is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of applicable privacy, security and accessibility legislation both at the provincial/state and federal levels. She brings her intimate knowledge of, and connection to, the blind and low vision consumer community to the board, and is responsible for consumer engagement and government relations. Sharlyn manages T-Base relationships with leading North American consumer organizations such as AEBC, NFB, CNIB, and AFB. In addition to her T-Base role, Sharlyn formally serves on the board of AEBC where she provides guidance and expertise in accessible communication and technology.


Mike Hadfield, Director of Operations

Over the course of the last decade, Mike has held senior management roles in the reprographics and document management industries, bringing extensive experience to both the client relations and operations side of the business. Mike’s expertise in building customer loyalty in the legal and financial industries is an asset to T-Base and the overall customer experience.

Prior to joining T-Base, Mike worked closely with design professionals at some of the world’s most prestigious publically traded and privately held architectural and engineering firms. His teams have provided document management services to large construction projects in North America, including the World Trade Centre redevelopment Project, Towers 2, 3 & 4 in New York and the MGM City Center development in Las Vegas.

As Director of Operations, Mike is responsible for the overall secure statement and document processing operations organization, and for ensuring that all of our employees and processes reflect T-Base’s unparalleled standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness.   Mike holds a BA in Philosophy from University of Toronto, and is a graduate of the law school at McGill University.


Deanna White, Director of Marketing & Partner Relations

Picture of Deanna White Deanna White has several years' agency-side experience and over 20 years progressive experience with retail category leaders and not-for-profit organizations, devising and executing marketing plans. The focus of those plans has been on brand development, marketing and communication strategies for consumer, business-to-business and trade markets on local, national and international levels. In1993, Deanna joined Budget Rent a Car and was responsible for national marketing and communications programs and the implementation of new product launches for Park'N Fly across Canada. In 2001, she moved to chair the Communications Committee of The Ottawa Little Theatre and spent two years overseeing the implementation of fundraising and marketing programs for The Easter Seals Society in eastern Ontario. Deanna has worked with various Ottawa-based organizations with their strategic media relations and PR programs. She has served on the board of the Canadian Marketing Association as Vice President and Director of Public Relations, and chairs the Marketing and Communications Committee for the Women's Business Network of Ottawa.

As Director of Marketing and Partner Relations for T-Base, she is responsible for delivering the branding and corporate communications initiatives to ensure that our Fortune 100 customers, governments and educators understand how we can help them communicate effectively, save money, and reduce risk as their full service accessible communications partner. 


Christine Roy, Director of Human Resources

Picture of Christine RoyChristine Roy has worked for 20 years in human resources. Prior to launching her independent human resources consulting practice in 2008, she was the Director of Human Resources for the Ottawa Police Service. She has worked in both the private and public sectors with Gandalf Technologies and the former Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton where she gained hands-on experience working with senior leaders to align human resource programs with organizational strategic objectives. Her reputation for designing, developing and implementing human resources programs is based on the results of many significant change efforts she has led or in which she has participated. During her time with the Ottawa Police Service, two of her human resource initiatives were recognized internationally for innovation in policing. She has been an active volunteer member on a number of human resource related boards and committees including serving as the past Chair of the Human Resources Committee of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP). She currently sits as a board member of Family Services Ottawa.

Christine brings her experience and hands-on practical human resources solutions to T-Base, ensuring that our employees are integrated directly into our business practices as vital stakeholders, and that they receive the training, support and guidance necessary to ensure our customers success.


Daniel Laramée, Chief Security Officer & Director of Technology Services

Picture of Dan LarameeDan holds overall responsibility for the security and IT infrastructure (physical and electronic) protecting our sensitive customer and  corporate data, and ensuring full compliance with all required certifications and standards.  Dan is responsible for all T-Base information technology security programs, policies and processes, network infrastructure, architecture, risk assessments, business continuity planning and information systems disaster recovery.

Dan is a seasoned multi-disciplined security specialist with over 20 years of experience encompassing all aspects of security including physical, digital, and employee security clearances. During his tenure at Electronic Warfare Associates Canada, he was a member of CanCERT (Canadian Computer Emergency Response Team) where he gained significant practical experience in incident response, intrusion detection, IT security architecture design, and penetration and vulnerability scanning. Prior to this, Dan served with the Canadian Navy for 12 years where amongst other distinctions, he received two Special Service Medals for separate operations during the Persian Gulf War.
